Florence + The Machine Unveil New “Breaking Down” Video

Florence And The Machine’s new video is finally out and it’s very different from what we’ve sen so far. If you were expecting an explosive over-the-top video like their previous ones, you are gonna have to wait a little bit longer, cause the freshly premiered clip for “Breaking Down” is more nostalgic and calm rather than explosive and bizarre.
The whole clip is shot in the style of the old Super 8 film format, and we get to see footage from the band’s tours across America. Come to think of it, the more you will look at it, the more you will get a very hippy ’60s vibe, with some interesting frames of Florence who seems to fit in just well in the whole scenery. In fact, taking into account Florence’s recent statements that she is working on a secret dance project, the new video for “Breaking Down” comes as no surprise to us all. The band declared that they have set up a dance outfit named Side Project, and they have already recorded a number of house tracks. Pretty neat, huh?
“We actually have a dance outfit side project called Side Project. We made this weird house track that sounded quite churchy – to be confirmed! As yet it has never seen the light of day”
The video for “Breaking Down” is available for your viewing pleasure right below, let us know what you think of it.
