After having released a couple of mixtapes and numerous collaboration tracks, J. Cole is at last getting things into motion for his highly anticipated, yet nameless debut album.
"Work Out" is the first official single released off J. Cole's debut album due out in the summer of 2011.
For this new track, the rapper from Roc Nation, J. Cole borrowed just a few lines from Paula Abdul's 1988 success, "Straight Up" and also from Kanye West's "New Workout Plan". J. Cole declared in an interview that his debut album will feature 13 or 14 tracks and that he's also started working on his sophomore LP... seems like he's planing to release two albums in one year to make up for lost time... but until then, let's just focus on the first one.
