Everybody makes mistakes, yes it’s wrong to have an affiair, but it’s also wrong to judge. Don’t look at the speck in someone elses eyes before you take out the plank in yours. This song is the most honest song I have heard and I think Leanne has guts to be able to open her heart and tell the world how she feels. We can’t change the past. We can only move forward and make our future better. It’s all about choices.

“Borrowed” implies consent. I believe the word Rimes wanted was “cheating” or “home-wrecking.” Possibly “trollop-like, self-centered indulgence.” “Borrowing” does not mean what she thinks it means.

I think this part of the Lyric is incorrect-It’s a short hide and long low,. I think it should be It’s a short HIGH and long low. I mean what what would the words ” short hide” mean? It makes no sense,whereas-It’s a short high and long low, make sense.
