    • I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and was curious what all is needed to get setup? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very internet smart so I’m not 100% sure. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I was kinda dissapointed by the soundtrack. I would’ve definatly liked to have seen more songs on it, especialy, oh I don’t know, one with Gavroche?? You only hear him once in Drink with me! Lovely Ladies, Little Drop of Rain, and Gavroche’s Look Down would’ve been good. Also WHO AM I. OMG HOW COULD THEY NOT HAVE WHO AMI I?!?!

The soundtrack is beautiful. The artists are amazing. The movie is a hit. :)
Although the stage is much more phenomenal than the movie, I can still say that the movie is a good alternative to those who can’t watch a live performance of Les Miserables. The artists have given the songs a new life and made it more popular to today’s generation. Sam Barks is an amazing performer and she lived up to the expectations of her role. And her voice is very beautiful, even if she screams I think all I can hear are angels singing. Haha. ;p
It actually surprised me that Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman can sing that heavenly. I could feel every emotion they were feeling. And with Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Carter for the inn keeper and his wife, who could ask for more. The one chosen to play Gavroche was also amazing. Although I like the in the 25th anniversary stage show more, I still found the one in the movie adorable.
The movie in total was a success. If they aimed to make the audience cry, laugh and hang on to their seats, well they certainly did that. My heart ached for Fantine, and Eponine. Two ladies who did everything for love. A mothers love knows no bounds. I also loved the scene when Javert placed his medal on Gavroche. It was very moving. I want to say more, but maybe that will be too much..
LES MISERABLES is a classic that will never get old. Thumbs up to everyone who made it a marvelous movie to watch.

I saw the stage show 5 times and have the original cd and both dvd’s of the anniversary concerts. The film was brilliant however I have not bought the soundtrack because the singing, although good for the film, cannot possibly match the singing from the stage show. This was just my personal choice as to have the film at long last was just great.

I am a great fan of the show and thought the movie was sensational and a fitting complement to the stage show – I think the album is really nice as long as you can relate it to the film but I don’t think some of the performances are right for CD as they lack some of the vocal quality of the original stage show cast recording. IN film they were right I just not sure it holds up as a stand alone piece of work, and why have they left the whole arrival in Paris including Gavroche’s main number off the CD? I will say that Sam Barks stands at the top of the 8 or so different portrayals I have seen – she was fantastic and brought Eponine to life in a way that few have. Russell Crowe was so perfect for the part but it was a shame that his vocals were weak (IMHO) in the film it workded but on CD it is much more obvious when you compare with other Javert’s – the magnificent Stars sadly became nothing more than a nice song in the show.

what an amazing soundtrack! this could be the best and most popular soundtrack of this year already! it is ranked number 1 on US top 200.I do not like it because of that, I love it because the artists are singing beautiful songs.
Les Misérables indeed becomes a musical phenomenon
