Romantic New Video For Train’s Latest Single: “Drive By”

Valentine’s day brought us the release of a new video from Train. Their latest single “Drive By” is now assisted by a very delightful clip which is filled with romance and a classical love story. Frontman Patrick Monahan is determined not to let the love of his life slip through his hands as he sweeps her off her feet.

After watching the new clip, you too will come to the conclusion that Patrick loves a good glass of wine, a fine woman, and a classic car (1967 Pontiac Firebird to be more speciffic), not necessarily in that order. The video starts off with what seems to be the perfect relationship, but out of the blue, things go terribly wrong. Hey, you can’t have a classical love story without something going wrong, right? So the lead singer and his band mates hop in to a fleet of awesome classic cars and drive to a vineyard to make things right again. The video was shot on the road from San Francisco to Sonoma and the view is simply amazing. We won’t spoil the ending for you, that would just be wrong. “Drive By” is the official lead single off Train’s upcoming new album, “California 37” which is set for release on April 17th, 2012. Despite the pretty slow start, the song quickly bounced back and is now making its way up the charts, now occupying position #67 on the iTunes Top 100 chart.
